The situation
A studio that builds software for founder-led businesses, selling to founders: a busy audience that is approached by someone new most weeks.
What we did
- Cold campaigns to founders matching a tight ideal client, with every message written for the person and checked before sending.
- A warm campaign to the founder's existing connections, using the wording that had already worked cold.
- Comments on prospects' posts between messages, so the name was familiar before the ask.
- Replies sorted the same day, with the routine ones answered and real interest sent straight to the founder.
What happened
- 6,675 decision makers contacted and 4,501 connection requests sent, with 24% to 32% accepted on settled cohorts.
- 536 people replied, and 75 of them asked for a call or for more information.
- The warm campaign drew replies from 14.2% of existing connections, against 4.4% to 7.4% cold.
- 1,055 comments left on prospects' posts.
A reply is any reply after the first message, including “no thanks”. No figure here counts booked calls. How we count
